Tweeting and social media have become an important role for any organisation, business, person and even News station use it, this is evident below:

The local news even use it to interact with the community and advise on sever weather warning and accidents and breaking news updates. 

Twitter is also a great way for businesses to promote events and new products, this way they  can reach many of their customers online. For example as ANZ has done below:

Technical Activity Quiz 2 

So I have also just completed my quiz 2 and this one was a little harder this week. It took my fours goes to achieve 100%, however I think its just because i'm nit reading the whole question then missing the key part so hopefully next week I can put in place what i learnt this week to improve my amount of attempts.

This articles key message was that the NRL had taken control of the Gold Coast Titans. The NRL would bring a fresh new attitude and refresh the club of recent drug accusations. The NRL where insuring fans that they had a plan to make the club a strong and viable club for the future. The angle this article took was to ensure fans that the Titans would be staying around for many years to come with the help of the NRL's strategic plan. The audience this piece would have been targeted to would have been Titan fans, members of the club, sponsors and Sport fanatics.

The audience for this article where Titan fans, sport fanatics and NRL fanatics. The angle this piece took was a positive outlook to fans that now with the NRL takeover, the Titans club would be changing for the better. The main messages of this piece was the club was on the break of folding due to immense financial commitments and off field accusation of cocian charge to 5 players that can be seen above.  The NRL are ensuring fans of long term sustainability with the NRL under control until 2019.

This articles angle was based around how the NRL would solve all the clubs problems and how they have a long term strategy just like they did for the New Castle Knights in 2014. The audience for this article would be fans, NRL fanatics and sport fanatics. The message of this article how the NRL will takeover and change the club for the better. How the NRL will fix all the problems and ensure long term sustainability for fans and the community.

Technical Activity 

I did better than expected in my first quiz, it took a couple of attempts before I got 100% but I look forward to improving this each week.

All about Hannah 

My name is Hannah and I am currently in my last semester, studying a Bachelor of Business majoring in Human Resources via distance. I am currently living in Gladstone in Central Queensland however in two weeks will be moving to Mackay. I am 19 years old and the proud owner of a King Charles Cavalier named Rocco, who rules my life.


Like I said I am studying a Bachelor of Business majoring in Human Resources, however I am also interested in media, personal relations and marketing. I currently study four courses Media Writing, International Marketing, Marketing Plans and Entrepreneurship, Innovation and New Ventures. I am aiming for all credits in my courses for my final semester at university. My aim for this course is to learn and better understand how to writing correctly and improve in my grammar and spelling as I have always struggled with them. I am also looking forward to exploring a different side of social media and how it is used in effective business way.
