Inquiry Activity
So personally I use Instagram to follow celebrities and stay update on the celebrity gossip. I also use Instagram to share photos of my life with my followers.
However in an organisational perspective Instagram could help them out too. My friend has a small business and she uses Instagram to show case her new products for clients and what is happening in the business.

However many see it as a way to stork celebrities and find out what Kim Kardashian had for breakfast, it is seen as a free marketing tool for large organisations, for example the ANZ national bank.

Most people use it to share photos, others use it for business reasons, some use it to share videos, some use it to connect with fans, some use it to share their music and most people use it just for their filters and a free photo editor tool to make their photo's seem professional.

sure can make us all look like professional photographers. Instagram allows you to select a
photo and you can crop, edit and add filters until you are pleased with the
outcome. It can transform anyone into a professional photographer.
Overall Instagram is
a social network that allows everyone to share their life with who they choose.
It allows everyone to become inspired by photography and can even make people
famous. Instagram is a great social network to interact with people and can
even be used as a marketing tool for large and small organisations.
Technical Activity - Quiz 8
I think I did really well this week finally getting the hang of the quizzes. I tried my best and only took three attempts to get my 100% i surprised myself.

ReplyDeleteIn week 8 I wrote about Instagram too, I have been using Instagram for almost a year and really enjoy it. However I do not like a few terms of Instagram like thet can share any information about its users with Facebook so we will eventually get ads targeted to those 'likes'.
Hi! I also did Instagram. However, a few minor problems with your post. One would be the length of your post. It’s too long and it’s harder to read. Too many paragraphs are used. A suggestion would be to have them be shorter and only be one sentence to one paragraph. Great blog!

ReplyDeleteI covered Instagram in my blog this week as well and have had some feedback that I thought I'd share, and this is to adjust the structure of paragraphs.
My paragraphs were originally quite long and by cutting them at turning points in content it not only reads better but also looks better, I'd definitely recommend trying to space out your text.
Despite the long paragraphs, you've done a great job at including all of the relevant information.

ReplyDeleteYou have addressed the different uses for Instagram quite well. It is becoming a hub for many business' to share their goods on a large scale.
I would have liked to hear some improvements you think Instagram could make (if any) and discuss why you didn't like them.
Also I found a sentence that needed a little tweeking:
"...some use it to share videos, some use it to connect with fans, some use it to share their music and most people..."
You have used the word 'some' three times in one sentence which can be repetitive and lose meaning. Always watch your use of the same word :)
Otherwise you've have included all relevant info and done a good job.
